‘With Just One Glance You’ is a very stylish new track from hypnotic producer, Nicolas Jaar featuring some very unique vocals by Scout LaRue. Stylistically, the track will be familiar sounding to Jaar fans -a subtle rhythmic groove buried beneath beautiful, soundscape-esque pianos and keys- but here there is a more immediately accessible song structure and some truly dynamite vocals parts that perfectly compliment Jaar’s approach. Pitchfork had this as a best new track as well but it was called “And I Say.” What is up with that?
hmmmm.. I see that. There seems to be some confusion as to what the name of this song is… weird.
